Young Ben Foss, 13, won five of his eight rubbers on his senior British League debut for the Ravenscroft first team in Cheshire, while Alex Robinson returned a full-house of eight individual wins.

The first team (pictured) registered four straight wins to leave them in pole position of Division 4 North after the opening round, while the Ravenscroft second team were unfortunate not to go through the weekend unbeaten, narrowly losing their final match, which leaves them fourth in the eight-strong Division 4 South.
