Impressive Performance by Garry Dodd

The new Grand Prix season got underway at the Tees Sport City of Liverpool Grand Prix event, held at the Wavertree Tennis Centre. Guernsey’s Garry Dodd impressively made his way to the final of the men's band 1 singles.  

Garry made his way to the final with victories over senior British league premier league player Kev Dolder 3-2 and also conquered the Irish number two Ashley Robinson 3-0.

In the final Garry was defeated 3-0 by Paralympics Team GB hopeful Kim Daybell, who is ranked in the top 10 in the world for his disabled class.
