Garry Dodd won his 10th Capelles Open Singles title on Monday night, culminating in a 3-0 win over Ben Foss in the final.  Having only dropped one set all evening, Dodd continued that form early on in the final, though Foss came back strongly in the tight 3rd game before Dodd prevailed to clinch the title 11-2, 11-4, 14-12.

There were no major shocks early on as all the seeded players progressed comfortably through their groups.  The Stacey twins faced each other in the quarter-final, with Lawrence coming through this time against his brother Josh 12-10 in the deciding end.  Phil Ogier beat surprise quarter-finalist Albert Unden for the loss of just 7 points while Foss and Dodd defeated Dan Collenette and Paul Hainsworth respectively.

Both semi finals were won in 4 ends, with Dodd beating Lawrence Stacey 11-5, 9-11, 11-6, 11-5, while Foss overcame the defensive skills of Phil Ogier 11-3, 11-9, 8-11, 11-4.
