Denis Lempriere Under 18 Open Doubles

2nd seeds Liam Robilliard and Joshua Butler will play against 4th seeds Alex Robinson and Sam King in the final.

Robilliard and Butler made their way to the semi finals by defeating Keiran Kotecha and Andy Lihou 4-0, setting up a tough clash against 3rd seeds Alice Loveridge and Kate Stubbington. The higher seeded pair were always in front and managed to close out the match 4-2 to book their place in the final.

Robinson and King beat brothers Luke and Ryan Bichard 4-0 to make the semi finals where a clash with top seeded twins Lawrence and Joshua Stacey, who were Men's Doubles semi finalists a night reserved. The match was a lengthy tussle which swung back and forth throughout, with neither side able to obtain a telling advantage. The match went to the 7th game and match points came and went for both sides before the lower ranked pair closed it out 14-12.

Over 60's Open Singles

Top seed Neil Hastie will contest the final against 3rd seed Terry Trustum.

Hastie came past GTTA president Derek Webb in 5 games in the quarters before mirroring the scoreline against 4th seed Maurice James in the semis.

Trustum had a much tougher route through and he was firsty extended to 5 games by fellow Lions' team-mate Dave Finn at the Quarter Final stage. It looked like a semi final defeat was on the cards when Ian Fitchet opened up a commanding 3-0 lead in the semi finals. Trustum kept himself composed though and roared through the following 4 games to complete a remarkable comeback. Fitchet's best chance to win the match came in the 6th, where he went down 12-10.
