Under 11 Open Singles

Top seed Jack Ives will meet 2nd seed Ben Foss in the final.

Ives did not lose a leg in his victories over Jake Lowe and Luke Bichard.

Foss defeated Holly Brown 4-0, but he did concede a leg against Matthew Casey in their semi final encounter.

Under 13 Open Singles

Top seeds Sam King and Jack Ives will contest the final.

King was dominant throughout the event, defeating Luke Bichard, Tom Bonsall and Ben Foss without being overly pushed.

Ives had a similar run by defeating Daisy Kershaw and Ryan Bichard. He was made to work hard in the semi final by fellow Ridudian Sol Bower and the 4-0 scoreline is not a full reflection on the hard fought match.

Under 15 Girl's Singles

Top seed Chloe Le Tissier made it through to the final where she will play against 2nd seed Cleo Rosumek. She eased past Daisy Kershaw in a straight game semi final win. Rosumek first beat Megan Gale in straight games before taking out Charlotte Casey by the same scoreline in the semis.

Under 15 Boy's Singles

Number 1 seed Alex Robinson will play against 2nd seed Sam King in the final. Robinson defeated Ed Jeffreys, Luke Bichard and Sol Bower without dropping a leg.

King mirrored Robinson's feat with 4-0 wins over Ben Foss, Ryan Bichard and Jack Ives.

Over 70's Open Singles

Peter Powell became the first unseeded player to make a final and he will meet top seed Ian Fitchet there.

Powell was involved in a titanic battle against Ken Falla in a match with some excellent rallies. Falla battled back from 3-1 down to restore parity, but Powell just edged the 7th 12-10 to make the final at the expense of the 2nd seed.

Fitchet was also made to work hard by Len Bretel in the other semi final. After opening a 2-0 lead, he was pegged back to 2-2. The 5th leg proved to be an important one and Fitchet did what was necessary to claim it 12-10 before cruising through the 6th 11-3.

Over 50's Open Singles

Top seed Mark Pipet will play against 3rd seed Kay Chivers in the final.

Pipet was on good form and blasted past Maurice James, John Wills and Neil Hastie with some effective boomer loops helping him to the final with no legs dropped.

Chivers defeated Peter Vivian and Derek Webb in straight games prior to her clash with 2nd seed Phil Hunkin in the semi finals. Hunkin had defeated Chivers at the same stage of the Over 40's Singles on Thursday and this was a chance to get revenge for the player already into the Women's Singles final. Chivers did in fact get her reward as she won 4-1, which was a reverse of the score from Thursday evening. The match was as close as you can get as all 5 games were only settled over the full deuce distance.
