Division 1

Defending champions Lions A extended their lead at the top of the 1st division after inflicting a crushing 5-0 whitewash over their nearest rivals, Whistlers C.

Unbeaten CI number 1 Garry Dodd continues to produce the goods and defeated reserve Derek Webb 4-0 before defeating Alex Robinson in 7 games. Robinson had done well to fight back from 1-3 to force the decider, however Dodd switched up a gear to cruise through the 7th for the loss of just the single point. Josh Butler also continues to impress and he did not drop a leg during his wins over Robinson and Webb. The Lions pair made no mistake in the doubles, which they cruised through in straight games.

Whistlers B are now just 2 points behind their C side after they completed a 5-0 whitewash of their own, over their A side. Lawrence and Joshua Stacey both defeated Mark Pipet in straight games, but each was made to work hard by Phil Hunkin. Josh was up first and let a 3-0 lead slip before closing the match out in 6 games. Lawrence had an even tougher task and needed a 7th and final game to get the win, the narrow score of 11-9 being the final outcome.

Lions C are a further 2 points back from the Whistlers C side, however they made no mistakes against an under-strengthRavenscroft Panthers A side, a 5-0 brush the order of the day. Paul Hainsworth and Liam Robilliard were comfortable straight game winners over 2nd division reserves Peter Vivian and Ben Foote. They also paired to win the doubles in straight games.

There was better fortune for Ravenscroft Panthers B, who moved into 6th position courtesy of a 4-1 win over the side at the bottom of the table, Lions D. Matt Stubbington defeated James Rabey in 5 games and 2nd division reserve Luke Bichard in straight games. Panthers own reserve Steve Martin won the battle of reserves when he got the better of Bichard in 5 games. He also came extremely close to producing an upset against Rabey, when leading 3-0. Rabey steadied the ship and made no mistakes in the proceeding 4 games to clinch victory. The Panthers pair won the doubles in 5 games.

Division 2

Whistlers E extended their lead at the top to 3 points following an important 7-3 win over one of their main title rivals, Lions E. Kay Chivers led the line for the victors with wins over Tim Le Page, Terry Simon and reserve Peter Powell. Keith Opiecontributed well with wins over Simon and Powell. The other Lions win came courtesy of Lepp andBrehaut's straight game doubles win over Carter and Wills.
