Division 1

Defending champions Lions A were defeated for the first time this season, however they still hold a commanding 12 point lead at the top and are within touching distance of reclaiming their crown. The champions were missing CI number 1 Garry Dodd for the encounter and 2nd division player Chloe Le Tissier stepped up to the plate to reserve. Joshua Butler continued his blistering form with another 2 singles wins over Mark Pipet and Phil Hunkin, dropping just the single end to Pipet in the process. Le Tissier lost to Pipet in straight games, but she put in a top effort against Hunkin, narrowly losing out in 6 closely contested games. 6 games was also the winning margin in the important doubles encounter and it was the Whistlers duo that took the plaudits and points.

Lions C replaced Whistlers C in 2nd position after recording a 4-1 win in the battle between 2 of the 4 sides chasing the runners-up spot. Paul Hainsworth had a solid evening and earned wins over Dawn Morgan and Alex Robinson, dropping just the single end during his 5 game win over Robinson. Liam Robilliard added a comfortable straight game win over Morgan to make sure of the points, but he was defeated in 5 games by Robinson. The Lions pair claimed the doubles encounter in straight games.

Whistlers B also moved above their C side on games difference after they secured a tight 3-2 win over another side in contention of a top 2 finish, Lions B. Joshua Stacey was the man in form during the fixture and he started with a gritty 5 game win over Jez Powell. His next encounter was against Phil Ogier, who had lost just 1 singles match prior to the encounter. Stacey ignored the form book by storming through the opening 3 games to put himself within touching distance of a notable scalp. Ogier dug in well and his experience and consistency enabled him to force a deciding 7th game. The 7th was an epic which could have gone either way. It was Stacey though who managed to hold his nerve in the end, sealing it 14-12. Twin Lawrence had a tougher evening at the office as he lost to Ogier in 5 games. He did bounce back well in his crucial match with Powell where he overturned a 2-1 deficit to win in 6 games. Ogier and Powell lowered the margin of defeat by winning the doubles clash in 5 games.

Division 2

Whistlers E increased their lead to 5 points after their 10-0 whitewash of Lions G. Kay Chivers, Keith Opie and Ben Foss all defeated Brian Ferbrache, Cleo Rosumek and Luke Bichard in singles competition. Chivers and Opie combined to take the doubles over Ferbrache and Bichard in 4 games.

Division 3

St Pauls B's lead at the top was cut to 6 points after they were held to a draw by Lions J. Mike Brehaut had a stellar evening and had a big part to play in the Lions side's resistance. He won all of his singles matches against Derek Carter, John Wills and Brian Le Cras. He was also on hand to team with Lynn Finn in the doubles, where they came out 3-2 winners over Wills and Le Cras. Junior Theo Lepp was the player to get the crucial 5th win for the Lions side as he got the better of Wills in 5 games. He was also very close to getting the 6th point on the board for the Lions when he was edged out 13-11 in the decider by Carter. It was though Finn that came the closest to getting the win for the Lions outfit as she lost out 17-15 in the decider to Le Cras in the very last match of the evening.

Division 4

Whistlers L moved to the summit of the division 4 table for the first time this season after they posted an emphatic 9-1 win over their M side. Brothers Stuart and Darren Sarre each won their 3 singles matches against Alex Dekker, Connor Le Cras and Shauna Jenkins. They also teamed to win the doubles over Le Cras and Jenkins in straight games. Tom De La Rue defeated Dekker and Le Cras, however he lost out to Ridunian Jenkins in 5 games, which prevented the whitewash.
