Earlier Crocker had also produced an upset by knocking out top seed and defending champion Caden Brouard in 3-2 in the semi final, while Tucknott beat Alex Paul 3-0.

The 13-year old upset the odds and demonstrated his improvement this season with a tight 3-2 victory over James Crocker in the final.  The Lions teammates produced a real ding-dong battle to entertain the spectators with Tucknott coming through 8-11, 11-9, 13-11, 7-11, 11-8.
