COVID-19 Updates

     Season Diary (updated 17-Mar-2021)

Update 18th March 

As Guernsey moves to Stage 3 of Exit from Lockdown, the GTTA are pleased to be able to resume all table tennis activities from Monday 22nd March.  The GTTA diary has been revised and is available for download, but please note the following key points:

League matches will resume on the following dates:

    Division 1 -  Wednesday 24th March 

    Division 2 -  Thursday 1st April

    Division 3 -  Wednesday 31st March 

    Division 4 -  Thursday 25th March

Due to the 8 'lost' weeks, it has been decided to abandon the last round of league matches for each division. E.g. a Division 1 team will now play each other team 4 times in total, instead of the originally-planned 5.

The Island Championships have been moved back two weeks to allow the leagues to finish first. They will now commence on 30th April. Other missed tournaments have been rescheduled, mostly in March or April

Junior training will start again from Monday 22nd March, keeping previous session days and times, more information will be communicated too parents in a separate letter.

Update 6th March 

Following the States of Guernsey update released on 3rd March and the subsequent move to Recovery Stage 2, table tennis is able to resume in a limited capacity from Monday 8th March.

The GTTA Centre will be open for practice at the times listed below, subject to safety measures designed to ensure that all attendees are abiding by government guidelines for the safety of all present.  This includes a maximum of 20 persons in the hall, regular sanitisation, social distancing and mask-wearing while on the premises. 

Monday        19:00 - 22:00

Tuesday        19:00 - 22:00 (Social League only)

Wednesday   19:00 - 22:00

Please note that there will be no Saturday or Monday morning clubs for the time being.
