COVID-19 Updates

Update 20th June 

Following Guernsey's move to Phase 5 of the States of Guernsey Exit Framework, table tennis activities will be recommencing as normal from Monday 22nd June. We have reverted the centre back to 12 match tables and is now no need for social distancing or to book a table for practice. Hand sanitisers will still be available for players/visitors to use should they wish.

Update 29th May 

The GTTA has obtained permission from the States of Guernsey to re-open the centre from 1st June for the purposes of playing table tennis provided that social distancing and hygiene protocols are maintained. The Centre will be open for practice only and a decision on leagues, tournaments and training will be made at a later date.

The new rules and guidelines for the use of the Centre are below:

Update 17th May

The GTTA are following health authority recommendations around COVID-19, and as such all table tennis activities have been suspended until further notice.

These include:

    - Junior coaching

    - Senior & Social Leagues

    - All tournaments

    - Island Championships & Inter Insulars

    - Committee meetings

The management committee of the GTTA are working with the Guernsey Sports Commission and relevant health authorities to plan a return to table tennis over the coming weeks and months when we are permitted to do so and with the required social distancing measures in force.
