Garry Dodd (left) won the Channel Island men's singles title last friday evening at the Geoff Reed Table Tennis Centre in Jersey for the third time. Dodd gained a 3-0 lead (11-9, 14-12, 11-2) against Jersey's Craig Gascoyne. Gascoyne fought back to win the next set (11-9). Dodd managed to close the game out in the fifth set (11-9).

Dodd also won the under 21 title for the fourth time, teamed up with Phil Ogier to win the men's doubles and the mixed doubles with Dawn Morgan.

Morgan also had a successful evening winning three of the four finals she competed in. Along with the mixed doubles title, she won the women's singles title for an incredible fifteenth time and paired up with Kay Chivers to win the women's doubles title More>>
