Division 1
Cenkos
Panthers A continued on their relentless surge towards their 1st league title
with a commanding 10-0 whitewash of Specsavers. Olly Langlois, Adam Langlois
and Matt Stubbington, were each relatively untroubled in their victories over
Mark Fallaize, Neil Hastie and Jeremy Tan, dropping just 4 legs in the process.
Olly Langlois and Stubbington teamed up to defeat Tan and Hastie in a straight
games doubles victory. Lions A continue to pursue the league leaders after
fighting out a tough 7-3 victory over Whistlers A. Phil Ogier was on good form
for the Lions side, defeating Mark Pipet, Phil Hunkin and Martyn Gaudion
without dropping a leg. Paul Hainsworth added victories over Hunkin and Gaudion
and Liam Robilliard defeated Pipet and Gaudion to secure the points. Hainsworth
and Ogier were pegged back in the 5th game of the doubles encounter by Gaudion
and Hunkin, who emerged victorious 11-9 to soften the defeat.
Division 2
Whistlers C
are still well on course towards the 2nd division title following a
comprehensive 9-1 victory over 2-man Lions C. Kay Chivers and Keith Opie each
defeated Ken Tucknott and reserve Mickey Lucas. They also teamed up to defeat
the Lions pair in a straight games doubles triumph. Joshua Stacey defeated
Lucas in 4 games, however he was edged by Tucknott in the 5th and final game,
this proving to be an excellent scalp for Tucknott and also prevented the
whitewash.
Division 3

confirmed their status as the leaders of the 3rd division following a 7-3
victory over Whistlers F. Derek Carter was the form player for the victorious
side, defeating Andrew Lihou, Rob Lihou and reserve Tim Doughty. Brian Le Cras
added victories over Andrew Lihou and Doughty and Connor Gaudion also chipped
in with a straight games victory over Doughty. Carter and Doughty lengthened
the margin of defeat by teaming up to defeat Andrew and Rob Lihou in a
comfortable straight games doubles victory. Lions H lost ground on the leaders
as they fell to their 3rd successive draw of the campaign, this time held by
Whistlers J.
Division 4

remain at the top of the 4th division following a 7-3 victory over Panthers D.
James Rabey was the form player for the Whistlers', defeating Stefan Sayer, Ed
Blewett and Andre De Carteret. Dave Herquin and Ben Rolph each added 2
victories, over De Carteret and Blewett to secure the win. Sayer and Blewett
