2nd seeds Phil Ogier and Dawn Morgan will play the experienced 5th seeded pairing of Keith Opie and Kay Chivers in the final.

2009 Champions Ogier and Morgan were clinical throughout their journey to the final as they dispatched Josh Stacey and Hayley Webb, Adam Langlois and Sue Febrache and Olly Langlois and Kate Stubbington all without conceding a leg.

The same could not be said for the Division 2 pairing of Chivers and Opie who were extended at every stage of the event. They dropped a leg against Jez and Jenny Powell at the Round of 16 stage before posting an impressive 5 game win over the higher ranked 4th seeded combination of Scott Romeril and Sam Kershaw. In the semi finals they came up against the surprise package of the tournament, Liam Robilliard and Chloe Le Tissier, who had accounted for Paul Hainsworth and Beth Priest and Garry Dodd and Sophie Ferbrache along the way. Chivers and Opie's consistency helped them towards a 3-1 lead and when 10-7 up in the following leg, it looked a certainty that the the match would be closed out over 5 games. The young pairing of Robilliard and Le Tissier were having none of it and won 5 successive points before comfortably claiming the 6th end to restore parity. Another lead of 10-7 was gained by the 5th seeds in the final game, however this time the comeback did not come to fruition and the game and match was closed out 11-8.
